Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AppsAnalyzer ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. AppsAnalyzer is designed to be private by default: all analysis happens locally on your device.

1. Information We Collect

AppsAnalyzer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. The app does not require you to create an account and does not use any analytics or tracking SDKs.

2. On-Device Data

To do its job, the app reads the list of applications installed on your device and inspects their publicly available package files (APKs) to detect the framework they were built with. This processing happens entirely on your device. Results may be cached locally (using a Room database) so the app loads faster the next time you open it. This cached data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.

3. Permissions

AppsAnalyzer requests access to query the list of installed applications solely to analyze and categorize them. It does not access your files, contacts, messages, camera, microphone, or location, and it does not require root access.

4. Data Sharing

Because no data is collected or transmitted off your device, we do not sell, share, or disclose any personal information to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The app itself does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services. If you download the app from a distribution platform (such as a website or app store), that platform's own privacy policy governs any data it collects during download.

6. Children's Privacy

AppsAnalyzer is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
